Lost in Oz

Here's my idea. Kind of a rag-tag team. I didn't really stretched the designs too far. The Lion's cowardly, the Scarecrow is pretty beat up and tattered, and the Tin Man is like an old knight. I like the fact that all the characters are suffering from deep psychological issues. Each one feels hindered physically in some way but, it's pretty much all in their head. Cool concept. I got carried away with the rendering and it started getting sketchy, but this was fun. Good call Seamas.

i agree- this one has the most "fairy tale" feel out of all of them. nice job.

I agree as well, it has a strong "Grim's Fairy Tale" vibe to it. I love the ragged-andy doll quality to the ScareCrow. Even though it's a dark version of Oz, you kept the Trio approachable, which is great for children if this was a series of illustration for a new book edition.

Great Work!

Really good characterizations! I think the lion and scarecrow are more effective in regards to your description, their poses/designs reflect the emotional/psychological strongly. Nice mushrooms in the foreground!
