I've had this guy sitting in sketchbooks for years, even worked on his design with Sherrie for a while. It was nice to do something that wasn't a Pin-Up, or a guy covered in armor.....although I was itching to do that the whole way though. Lately I've been trying to preserve the "sketch" quality in my finish work (I've shuffled around the layers and such). Now I've got to get to the rest of my Wild West crew that's still in my sketch book.
Enjoy guys!

very nice stuff scotty me boy, very nice. the dude is great, and the chick is awesome. i recommend fishnet stockings for her.
Fun characters. Good sense of their attitiude through their expression and pose.
One way I try to keep my sketch lines is by not cleaning up with one thick pen line. Maybe just try building up your cleanup line using the pencil in a sketchy way. (I'm not sure if that makes sense, does it?)
Hey Scotland,
Nice characters. I love that he's set to draw them popguns too. Nice work. It's cool that you included a saloon girl. Ya gotta have the saloon girl.
cool designs, scotland--
i wonder if you could just get rid of your sketch lines by bringing up the ol' hue/saturation meter in ye olde photoshope, and chose whatever color you're working in, and "lighten" it all the way, making it disappear? i don't know if that makes sense, or if you've already done something like that--if any of these is the case, or, you think i sound like an ass, then you can tell me to shove my ideas sideways up my rear...
