"Shadow Over Innsmouth"

My favorite and probably one of the most accessible of H.P. Lovecraft stories. His stuff can get pretty weird. The first image is of a few of the Innsmouth residence in various states of their ungodly aquatic evolution. I know they don't look too friendly but, if you can get past the fishy odor I've heard they have a great sense of humor.
The second piece is a thumbnail I colored of our wide-eyed, naive narrator as he enters Innsmouth. He learns quickly enough this isn't the vacation spot to stop and do some site seeing. Hope ya all post somethin'........... it's cold and lonely out here. Heh.

I know nothing about Lovecraft or this story, but your drawings are bitchin'. Makes me want to read it.

I kinda of remember this one. Personally I love the scene, it's what I enjoyed most about Lovecraft, the air of menace and mystery. I like the monsters, but they just never scare me......it is the same with horror films, so I'm probably just a freak.

Great looking work Jason. Again I love the scene, it really captures the menace that lurks in all of Lovecraft's tales.
